LAST Writing Fundamental's Class
My Partner's Profile Writing About Me
Hi Guys, welcome back to my blog. So in my previous post, I posted the profile that I wrote about my partner and now I am going to post my partner's profile writing about me. So for those of you guys that are curious, you can read it below:)
She grew up in an Indian family with her maternal grandparents that were born in India and continued their life in Indonesia, while her paternal parents were born in Surabaya and Solo, provinces in Indonesia. Both her parents were also born in Jakarta, Indonesia. Sudiksha resembles the strength of her great grandmother whose husband fought in the Indian Pakistan War, during those days survival was very minimal and despite all the challenges, she still managed to take care of the children and moved them to Indonesia instead.
Sudiksha also has the same strength to bear the loss of her father, on January 14th, 2020. She was also the pillar of the family and took the responsibility of taking care of her mother and brother after her dad’s loss. As the only and eldest granddaughter in the family, growing up in a family of all boys, she has learned to become as strong and as tough as a man, she is also the apple of her grandparents’ eyes or known as the “Golden Grandchild.” Sudiksha as an independent woman is well known for deciding to start her own food business “Bitez and melts”, with the help of her talent in cooking, she managed to sell food menus such as; burgers, desserts in a cup (cheesecake). “The goal of creating this food business is with hopes to become self-sufficient and financially stable one day”, said Sudiksha herself.
As a child, she had the dream to become a doctor thinking that she was going to be
able to help a lot of people. However, after her struggles in high school when she
tried pursuing a science major especially, Chemistry and Biology, she realized that
Science was not something she was exactly passionate about.
After her conversation with her cousin who is a news reporter
in TVRI who’s a communications major student too, she seemed to get interested
in pursuing a communications degree since she seemed to enjoy talking to people.
Her bubbly, talkative, easy-going, and friendly nature made her feel like she fits
with the communication major. Ever since the tender age of 4,
she was already a student in SSE Jakarta, an organization that fosters children
in the path of divine qualities such as truth, peace, right conduct, non-violence, and love.
She recently graduated from SSE Jakarta last year in November 2020
and has now moved on in her spiritual journey and is an active youth in the organization,
actively attending the study circles and participating in the various activities of community
service. She also hopes as a communication student, she would be able to help in
Media Sai Indonesia, in helping to spread the teaching of life through
the various digital platforms.
“These experiences have taught me to love all and serve all, moreover,
it allows me to also help people,” Sudiksha claimed.
Despite all her ambitious side with all her life already planned out,
especially with her visions for the future, she also has a unique thing that she can't live without.
It’s her love for food. Sudiksha has this favorite area in her room, where she has this
whole container box filled with lots of snacks.
Sudiksha enjoys a lot of food from different countries. Her favorite cuisines are from
Thailand, Italian, Indonesian, Mexican, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.
However, her most favorite cuisine is from Indonesia since she was born there.
She has endless love for nasi Padang, sate, nasi goreng, bakmi goreng,
nasi uduk, and nasi kuning.
Most of her favorite food in Indonesia is the street food from the roadside.
What’s even more unique is that she has this mindset
that as much as she loves buying food from restaurants or any fast food takeout menus,
she prefers cooking because it saves up more money.
For instance; there’s this chicken lovers pizza from Dominos Pizza that she loves,
but she rather shops for the ingredients on e-commerce apps such as;
Tokopedia and prefers to make it by herself with chicken nuggets and ham at home,
especially with the current situation where the COVID-19 virus has
spread badly in Indonesia.
However, just like most people, discounts, and food promos attract her eyes the most too!
Another enjoyable thing that Sudiksha loves is to enjoy her food while watching one of her
favorite TV Show, “a love to last”, the Philippino series, about the
story of two different people from different backgrounds trying
to find love despite their heartbreaks. Sudiksha said with excitement that she
is really into this TV Show. For her, the plot is well-structured and
has entertainment in it. Throughout the show,
Sudiksha discovered that the character named “Andrea” attracts her a lot.
Sudiksha is very impressed by how this character was a strong woman who has the power
to always rise again and to always have the spirit to move on in life.
Sudiksha is very impressed by how Andrea was slightly similar
to the definition of “superwoman” in the series, Sudiksha says that it shows a lot about how
Andrea was as a person.
To conclude, Sudiksha is one of the many people who is much needed in this world.
The fact that she is a very considerate, kind-hearted, caring person,
proves a lot that she needs to be given the opportunity
to do better for this world. Sudiksha always wants to help people,
and win hearts. With this story behind Sudiksha Ajit Lachman,
she hopes that she can inspire many more people to
bring kindness in this world just like she did.
Profile Writing for Partner & Reflection of Activity
Hi Everyone! It's me again and welcomes you back to my blog!
In my last post, I promised that I would show you guys my profile writing for my partner.
Naira is also a true fan of the movie gossip girl. She also has a thing for
“hot bad guys” for example, Chuck Bass from gossip girl.
Naira also believes in giving people
second chances; she could still find Chuck Bass charming after the fact that
Naira’s other favorite character in the movie Serena Van Der Woodsen was
sexually harassed by him. She also believes that people change,
although Chuck Bass was a sexual harasser and a cheater,
she still had a strong sense of empathy and hoped that he would change.
Naira believes that no matter how bad a person can be there might still be
some good in them which just needs to be found.
Naira is also the kind of person that wants to be an agent of change
and often would lend a helping hand to the people in need.
She is often a shoulder to cry on for many of her friends and family.
Naira hopes to be a person of bravery and a pillar for her family.
She also looks up to the characters of Blaire Waldorf and
Serena Van Der Woodsen in Gossip Girl.
Naira is also a fashionista and a classy girl,
she likes minimalist clothing especially the brands, Stradivarius, Zara,
Atsthelabel, Thebrightstock, Pyrusandspruce, and Amaya. jkt.
She always likes to stay up to date and follow the fashion trend, however, she is not a very glamorous kind of girl, she's more of a simplistic kind of girl that doesn’t put on too much makeup or try too hard to look pretty. She is also very confident in terms of the way she dresses up and she feels that she is pretty just the way she is. According to Naira, the kind of clothes you wear is a good representation of you, your personality, your character, and the vibes you give off to other people. She feels that beauty is from within and is not from how you look, because what matters is how you can give a positive trend to the Indonesian youth and she also feels that having a good character and kindness is vital to her.
Naira has a sophisticated and critical sense of music which usually complements her feelings during a certain time. During the times that she wants some hype or when she wishes to rock and roll, she listens to music such as Keshi, 1975, The Band Camino, All Time Low, 5 Seconds Of Summer, One Direction. During her darkest days, when she needs something to cry or something to make her feel better she listens to Empty Space and Can I Be Him by James Arthur, Lost by Blake Rose. She is also someone that likes to discover new music according to the so-called “teenager hype” which usually changes over time.
Naira is also someone that is missing out a lot on her life, due to the mere fact that she is adventurous in traveling, but not in the type of foods that she is willing to try. She is the type of person that is kind of basic and once she likes a certain type of food which usually happens once in a million years, she will never get bored of it. She does not like a burst of flavors in her food and usually orders her pasta “without onion, garlic, and veggies.” She also says that she needs to improve her nutrition intake because of her lack of fondness for fruits, only consuming apples, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, and pears if she is forced by her parents or when she is unwell. One of her most all-time favorite restaurants is Sushi Tei, her usual orders are Onigiri Yakiniku, Gyu Tamagotoji Ju (beef), Crispy Cheese Roll and Salmon Skin Maki both without Tanuki, Salmon Mentai Canape and she usually asks for the free crunchy roll (Tanuki).
A communication degree was not Naira’s first choice. She was more interested in studying psychology because she was interested in studying human behavior which was also quite common to communications. However, she had several meetings with her university counselor back in high school, conversations with her parents as well as conversations with various university representatives. After this and all her rejections in her psychology applications, she felt that more confident that applying for a communications major was the right fit for her.
Naira also really enjoys traveling and exploring new places. One of her most memorable experiences was when she went to Canada with her cousins for a holiday back when she was still in junior high school. She also describes this mall called Square one which gave her the semi-outdoor kind of vibe. There was a Disney store where she bought a Phineas and Ferb board game. She also enjoyed strolling around the city, visiting the museums and the cool weather of Canada.
To conclude, Naira is a family person that would do anything for the people she loves and she aspires to become the best version of herself as a communications student by always looking at the light in others, listening to the people that need someone to talk to. As a communications student, she also hopes that she can use her “voice” to bring about a positive change and to become an inspiration for fellow Indonesian youth.

Marketing Opportunities Talk
Credits to: Bimarc Instagram
Hi Everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today I joined a very interesting seminar from Bimarc in collaboration with APYouthS. We got to meet inspiring speakers on zoom that shared with us their personal experiences in the marketing field especially for famous global brands. The speakers were very interesting and not only did they give insights on what the marketing field has to offer, the speakers also shared some life lessons which I think were really good takeaways from the session. Ms Caroline Herlina said adaptation is very important in Today's world and especially marketing, because the market changes and how you reach out to these people and how you market will also change. I also realised that as a Communications student, this major requires you to reach out to people, talk to customers, suppliers and all that, so being a communications student can be a plus point because also of the soft skills that you have developed in communications. I also remember that Kak Caroline also mentioned that a company is more of a school to learn rather than a place to show off.
These are the 5 takeaways that I learned from the second speaker, what she said reminds us that it isimportant to help the people that have lost their jobs or support the people that have lost a loved one, give your time to the people that matter and to who needs them, enjoy and cease every opportunity that comes your way because you don't know whats out there so always try. She also said that it is also very
important to find something to make you laugh especially in times like this. Stay safe and healthy everyone! See you in my next post!

An Inspirational Movie, The Secret
Hi Everyone! Welcome to my blog, I have discovered a movie which really inspired me. I can't wait to share it with you all. So over the holidays, I watched this movie called the Secret. This movie was made in 2006 and the film was created by Prime Time Productions of Melbourne, Australia. The Executive producer was Rhonda Byrne, Paul Harrington, Producer and Drew Heriot, Director.
Here is the youtube link for those who are interested to watch the movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfGgUww6uFU
This movie is about the "Law of Attraction" and it says that whatever you attract, the good or the bad will come to your life. The movie also mentioned that human beings are gifted with feelings which means that they can feel wether what they are attracting is good or bad, this means that they have the ability to make a conscious effort to change their mind to be more positive. The movie also taught us the 3 main steps for attracting good thoughts and how you can make it manifest to come through, so that it can come through. The first step is imagine, the second step is believe the third step is focus. On a side note if you want to know how those famous people became famous, give this movie a watch! What really struck me the most from this movie is that it made me have a sense of reflection, even this pandemic that is happening right now, did I attract it in my subconscious? After knowing "The Secret", I made a promise to myself to only think good thoughts.Saturday, January 2, 2021
New Year's Eve in Quarantine
Hi Everyone! It is Sudiksha Budhrani here and welcome back to my blog! Today I am going to share about my very unique New Year's Eve which was in QUARANTINE!

Teaching Children Over the Holidays
Reflection: Teaching Singaporean children is not easy. Some kids are more quiet and calm while others are more aggressive in terms of asking questions. However, it is easier to know wether or not the child understands what you are teaching them if they ask questions. I also noticed that Singaporean kids are very independent and technology advanced, the boy above is a 7 year old boy in Primary 2. It was very satisfying to watch his excitement while he learned about Canva and started exploring Canva under my guidance and supervision. As much as I like teaching children, it was also a challenge to bond with them, to get them to trust you as a teacher and listen to you. It was also challenging to keep the 7 year old boy interested, happy and motivated to learn. Teaching is such a noble job and I appreciate all the teachers who have nurtured me throughout the years. I have still so much to learn about children and I hope to learn more through the more children that I can hopefully experience teaching in the future.
